WORKSHOPS

Build Apps that will support business processes with AI assistance

In this session we will create an MDA for project expenses registration. An app that will allow to register and approve costs related to projects. In addition we will add an AI Agent that will help users in the process. Agent will:

  • Be able to answer questions regarding cost registration procedure
  • Check expense registration request status in Dataverse
  • Create a new expense record directly from MS Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot in Dataverse.
  • Create an Excell report with Expenses above 100$.

We will start from the very beginning. From Copilot Studio description, navigation through best practices. We will talk about limitations and costs. We will create tools like: Agent Flows, Prompt Actions, Topics with Generative AI but also a simple MDA.

From Brainstorm to Blueprint: How to Identify Business Scenarios for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat and Agents

Not every problem needs an agent. Sometimes it needs Copilot. Sometimes Copilot Chat. Sometimes a better process. And sometimes… just fewer meetings. In this workshop, we will use a fictional company as our sandbox and turn conference attendees into the brains behind different departments: HR, Internal Comms, Marketing, Project Management, Firstline Workers, Sales and Customer Service.

After a short theory intro to understand what makes a good business scenario and why adoption matters just as much as the tool itself, each group will tackle processes and pain point of each department and design Business Scenarios for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat and Agents. Then we will bring the room back together, present the results, compare thinking, and collect a set of usable examples and questions you should ask in your organization to go beyond the hype.

The goal is simple: leave with real inspiration, practical takeaways, and a better understanding for spotting AI opportunities that make sense in the real world.

Azure DevOps Pipelines for Power Platform – From Manual Deployment to Automated ALM

Still deploying Power Platform solutions manually? This workshop will change that. During this hands-on session, you will learn how to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform using Azure DevOps and Power Platform Build Tools.

We will cover:

  • Power Platform ALM architecture
  • Service connections in Azure DevOps
  • Solution unpacking and source control (CI)
  • Release pipelines and deployment strategy (CD)
  • Environment variables and connection references in Azure Pipelines
  • Branching strategy in Power Platform

If time allows:

  • Power Platform CLI
  • YAML pipelines

By the end of this workshop, you will have a working CI/CD pipeline and a clear ALM strategy that you can apply in real projects.

Prerequisites:

  • Access to an Azure DevOps organization and at least one project (Basic access, with permissions to create and manage service connections, repositories, and pipelines — including classic release pipelines)
  • At least two Power Platform environments (e.g., Dev and Prod) with Dataverse, where you have the System Administrator role assigned
