Call for Speakers
The sixth annual CollabDays New England – Microsoft 365
(previously SharePoint Saturday New England)
will be held Friday, October 18, 2024
at the Microsoft Technology Center in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Submissions open until June 30, 2024
In-Person Presentations Only
This year’s event will be held in person, following any required safety requirements in place at the time. This is not a hybrid event. We believe the true value of our event lies in the live person to person interactions amongst everyone who attends.
- Anyone who would like to present a session is welcome to submit.
- Sessions will be 60 minutes in length.
- We would ask that you not pitch any product, service, or other commercial message during your session. If you would like to share more about a product or service, please reach out to us about a sponsorship options.
- For full transparency we use an anonymous review process to select the sessions based purely on the title and description of your submission. To that end we request that you please do not put any personally identifiable information in the abstract.
Please be prepared for your session so that it can start and end on time. We also ask that you help us get the word out by publicizing the conference and your session via whatever social media outlets with which you feel comfortable.
Information about sponsor questions when registering:
- Twitter/X: (Optional) Please provide your twitter handle so if you’re accepted, we can use it to socialize your sessions.
- LinkedIn: (Optional) Please provide your LinkedIn profile name so if you’re accepted, we can use it to socialize your sessions.
The following questions will be important if your session is accepted. Please feel free to fill them out now or return after notification to fill them out. Planning will be based on interest so it can be helpful to the organizers to have the information earlier rather than later.
- Attend Speaker Dinner: Our speaker dinner will be held at the Archer Hotel on Thursday, Oct 17, 2024 at 6:00pm. Please check the box to indicate if you’re accepted if you would be interested in attending.
- Additional Guest Request: We can only guarantee a spot at the speaker dinner for accepted speakers and sponsors. If there is room at the venue, we would be happy to accommodate speakers travelling with family. Please let us know how many additional guests you would like to bring to the speaker dinner. We cannot guarantee we’ll have enough room, but we will reach out to you as early as possible to let you know if we can accommodate your request.
- Dietary Restrictions: Please indicate if you have any dietary restrictions. This is important for accommodating them for not only the speaker dinner but also for lunch during the event.
- Hotel Room Interest: For those traveling from out of town please indicate your interest in having a room. As noted, we will be hosting our speaker dinner and SharePint at the Archer Hotel in Burlington, MA (https://archerhotel.com/burlington). We can secure rooms for $259/night. Please indicate if you’re interested in staying at the hotel. This is not a commitment; further registration will be required.
